Welcome Back, Supernatural!

TV Tour Guide wishes Supernatural a hearty "Welcome Back!". Very much geared up for Season 8, which so far sounds pretty damn cool.

How did Dean spend his time in Purgatory? How did he and new BFF Benny - a vampire - escape? What happened to Castiel?

How did Sam spend his year away from hunting? Did he find true, peaceful love with girlfriend Amelia? How will he and Dean reconcile his leaving the life?

How did the year apart affect their relationship? Will the reunion be a successful one? Will they become a solid unit once more?

Tune in tonight at 9 p.m. PST on the CW. You can always watch the Presidential debate later online ...

I’m so excited for the new season of Supernatural and for the answers to all of these questions, although I’m thinking some may take longer to answer than others! I finally just got my coworkers at DISH to start watching the show, too, but they have to finish watching the last couple of seasons first. I’ll be recording every episode, however, with my Hopper to that they can watch it once they are done. This should be an incredible premiere and a great season, if all is as it seems!

What I Learned On:

Nashville - Break off the bottom part of a cupcake, then put it on top of the frosting - essentially making a cupcake sandwich - you get frosting in every bite.

Covert Affairs - An "elevator pitch" includes talking points that can be outlined quickly.

Hawaii Five-O - What can I say...very educational show. Did you know that even if you file off your fingerprints, they'll grow back in a couple of weeks? I know!

Hawaii Five-O - You can apparently store a gun in the freezer and count on it to still fire when needed (i.e. home invasion). If true, definitely a unique, unsuspecting hiding place.

Body of Proof - Use rice to dry out a cell phone that has gotten wet (Hawaii Five-O also featured this trick).

Rizzoli & Isles - 18th Century beer sucks.

Bachelor Pad - Even "Am I really watching THIS?" shows can have moments (i.e. Ames forgoing $250,000 to follow evicted new love Jackie off the show). Of course, they broke up shortly after (no surprise), so ...

Entourage - To pass a drug test, if you're a man, you can be fitted with a fake p***s that emits a replacement "sample."

Covert Affairs - If you're going to "read in" (i.e. reveal that you're a spy for the CIA) your family, expect them to still love you but ask you to move out.

Suits - If you know a great hacker, you can invent an alumni record at Harvard Law without ever having set foot on campus.

Beauty and the Beast - Gross, but ... bedbugs, being bloodsuckers, can retain the DNA of anyone they bite in the bed they infest, so if need for crime-solving/affair-proving purposes, evidence is available.

Awesome Random Facts

- Hawaii Five-0 stars Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan were born exactly one day apart (August 24 and August 23, 1976, respectively).

- Plenty of TV co-stars happen to share the same birthday! Firefly stars Morena Baccarin (Inara) and Jewel Staite (Kaylee) share June 2 (Baccarin is three years older). One of TV's most beloved on-screen couples, Family Ties' Steven and Elyse Keaton - aka Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter - were both born on the very same day, June 21, 1947, while Big Bang Theory stars Johnny Galecki (Leonard) and Kunal Nayyar (Raj) share April 30 (Galecki is six years older).
